For me the best and only gift that i ever wanted is Love and Peace in this world. I know it is very hard to achieve but if only then i will be glad, anyway aside from that, i just want to see my family happy specially my wife, and my kids. Seeing them happy makes me feel very happy and for me that is the best gift that i could recieve this Christmas. How about you?

Although I would love to see peace in the world, I realize how unrealistic that is, with all the wars and man being man. Otherwise I'm just looking forward to having my hubby home for the holidays since he's been on a business trip for the last few months. I know he'll bring me something back of course, but spending lots of quality time with him means more to me than any presents. Also I just enjoying spending the time with family around us, that's even more important than presents I think.

My husband and I are into video games so that being said, I'd like to receive some of the video games on my wish list. Now, other then that a more peaceful planet would be great. We all should be more friendly and kind and do for others... not just around Christmas but all through the year.
I'd also like to start a job I have lined up, and be able to save money too!

My husband enjoys the Halo series but I haven't played it enough to say that I enjoy it. I also enjoy shooting games, rpg games, and mystery games! I play games such as the sims, need for speed under cover, an agatha christie game, things like mario are also nice! I've just gotten into video games seriously though but I can say that if it's an rpg I enjoy it!

Oh my goodness, If I could have one wish for christmas it would be that the all the little kids in the country could get gifts. I know that is probably something that could never be answered but if at least one person a day would buy one gift for some poor child than it could get close to my wish..
Good discussion and have a great evening...

I'm not expecting gifts this christmas since everyone depends on me to do the gift giving. But I agree with you that the joy we bring when we give gifts to our spouse and children is more than enough, thanks for reminding me as i often forget than one LOL. What I'm expecting it the 13th month and hopefully 14 month pay so i can spread happiness to everyone in the family and pay off some debts too LOL. I just hope that my boss would be as giving and generous as he had been for the past couple of years. Cheers and advance merry christmas.

Hi rjvb: First of all i have to congratulate you for sharing with us these feelinds. It's really difficult to find persons that thinks in that way those days when we always hearing selfish points of vies that makes us think that cumulating money is the only way to the happiness. I have to admit that i didn't think in those important values for our society when i think abou this Christmasts. So now i pray for at least a day of Peace and Love in our Planet Earth. Thanks for your post and Merry Christmasts for you and your family. Have a nice day.

I guess the best thing is just to be happy and have many adventurous things happen. When I am optimistic and excited for something great to happen, I am often happy. Materialistic items don't usually bring me so much happiness.. unless its REAL BIG! and its probably not .

When I read the queztionz....lotz of childizh ideaz came popping out of my head...But then again...
The bezt gift would probably be the gift of making thingz right and finding the right decizionz that would not hurt a perzon or more including myzelf.
I've alwayz been praying for wizdom but it zeemz that I haven't prayed enough or maybe I really haven't done what I'm zuppozed to do.
Lyf for me az a muzic ztudent haz been tough lately...academicz,...etc...or maybe I'm juz making it lyk that...
But I know, Chriztmaz or not, everyday remindz me of Jezuz and hiz zacrificez for uz through happy little thingz that are happening around me.
I may be confuzed ryt now, but I ztil hope and believe that zomeday the road ahead of me would light up and finally zhow me the way...and God would be there to guide me...

I do not think of that best gift for Christmas. It is all because I already received the best gift I asked for. Well, just today, my daughter was scheduled to go for physical exam, which is usually the last process in being accepted for a job. There were 8 of them there, and she told me that the Director congratulated them for having made it to the list. Although the results of the laboratory and other physical exams are not released yet, I am already celebrating her being employed. I am praying that everything goes out fine and she finally begins to work. With her being employed, I only have one son to send to college and finish a course. Isn't that an early Christmas gift and blessing. Thanks to Him!
