What game have you been playing for the longest time?

I've played beta version of Quake 3 even before the game came out. It came out in 99 and I've been playing it since then with a little pauses. So I can say that I've played Quake 3 constantly for a decade lol. Great game, never gets boring when you play it against other people. There are a lot of tricks to master in Quake 3 so even after so many years I'm still learning.
So what game have you played for the longest period of time?

I first started playing Starcraft around 1999, I think. I still like playing it now. I never got to play other games that came out after Starcraft because I keep looking for those "terran characters"
I guess I am too stubborn to learn to play new games.

I love Starcraft but I only got my hands on it around 2005. I own the original but someone somehow used my CD-key before so I couldn't play online:(
Waiting for the Starcraft 2 now. You should try it too and continue your terran battle.

starcraft is good i must admit. although some games have had the better of starcraft. only a few people play it nowadays

i've been playing final fantasy x for 6 years,it never gets old to me. most newer games lack emotion and characters seem lifeless. you can really attach yourself to the characters of ffx.

I love Final Fantasy characters. Haven't played X but I've seen it so many times on pictures/videos I kinda feel I did. Even today the animation from FFX looks incredible to me.

CRAP!! i typed a long response to this and hit the back button by mistake lol anyway
Command & Conquer is the game that ive played for years on end. Since 1995 when it first came out. I even kept my old computer until the "first decade" collection came out and was able to be installed on the newer computers. I have been a dedicated Command & Conquer fan from day one. and will continue to be until I die.

The game i been playing for a long time is legend of zelda i know its an old game but you can't beat the story line it has and the gameplay just gets better and better with each new game

Ehh, i kinda have to disagree with you there. I think they kept getting better and better, up untill Ocarina of time. After that I haven't really liked any of them. The minish cap on GBA was good, but that's because it was a lot like ' a link to the past"

World of Warcraft's my game. I've taken a several breaks from it, due to exam studies, but after exams it's back into the game!

since the release of dota map for warcraft i have been playing and i must admit the game is as good as the reviews said it is. its really amazing. who among you guys play rohan ph or rohan us?

I've still been playing God of War II for a the longest time. In my house, we go to Blockbuster and rent most games. Ya know, it's a recession. Games are getting increasingly expensive but keep getting more and more awesome! They are extremely tempting. My father had me playing God of War games when I was 7 yrs. old and i have no idea why he didn't think about it was rated Mature!

I think the final fantasy series just has to be longest time to play. But its worth a while to play this kind and must have really big patience to play this kind of game!
