Would be online profile be erased if I reinstalled my COD6?

My single player on modern warfare 2 is having an issue so I was going to do a reinstall. However, I was wondering if my online profile would be erased, because I have made substantial online progress. If I reinstall, will steam still recognize the game and my e-mail address and user name or will I have to restart on multiplayer?

No ur online info is stored on the call of duty servers not on your computer. So to answers ur question no it will not be erased.
