My husband and I went food store tonight. We saw a women shopping with her son. She was using a motorized cart, while her son pushed a regular cart. Okay, so what we see this all the time. Right?
Well here's the issue I see with this. The motorized carts are for the handicap that can't get around the store. The women we saw tonight was "Young" and so was her son (10yrs). I, at first, said wow, that is so great the her son is here helping his mother who can't get around very well. How nice.
They were in front of us in line. They left with 2 bags - not much groceries. She then parked the cart took her bags and walked out. Nothing was wrong with her.
Why do people do this? Why are perfectly healthy people taking away the resources that are for the handicap and people with serious disabilities? What are the people that really need them suppose to do. Suffer? Wait? Come back later? When is someone going to say something to these lazy ignorant people?

not that im stickin up for her but it's "possible" she's just had surgery or a baby, but i do know what you mean, i have a handicap plate but im not as bad off as some of the older folk and when there's only 1 or 2 spaces left i dont use them, i let the elderly have em, now if she wasnt parked in a handicaped spot and took a cart she'd be takin my foot out her A$$.
