Hopefully, I got your attention just by the title so that you will post a response to this discussion.
I can't sleep tonight. My back is killing me. So I'm sitting in bed, with the laptop resting on a pillow in my lap (Ha! Imagine a laptop on your lap) writing for mylot...and watching the movie "French Kiss" with Meg Ryan and Kevin Klein.
I thought that I'd seen it before, but the further it went into the movie, I realized that I hadn't seen it. Or at least not the whole thing. It's actually quite funny. Kevin Klein's portrayal of a French Man is so good. Right now he's going through Meg's purse!
What is your favorite Meg Ryan movie? Sleepless in Seattle, You've got Mail, Harry met Sally, Proof of Life, Kate and Leapold...or something else. Did you know she was on "As the World Turns" soap opera many years ago? She was only in one episode though in 1981!
Do you like her hair long or short?
My favorite is You've got mail. I love the chemistry she has in that movie with Tom Hanks. I love her hair long. I think it makes her look younger and softer.

That is a great movie you are watching. I also liked Sleepless in Seattle with Meg Ryan and Tom hanks. I have liked watching Meg Ryan in movies since I was a teenager in the 1980's. I hope your back gets to feeling better. I can't quite remember Meg Ryan on " As The World Turns" I remember my mom watching it sometimes while I was in school.

I thought they'd only done You've Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle but my future daughter in law asked me this morning if they didn't do Joe and the Volcano together as well. I went to the yahoo movie site and found out that yes, they did! I'd completely forgotten about that. They looked SO young on the front of the DVD case!

It was in the 80's so she had to have been really young. I like Sleepless in Seattle too. I wish they'd had more interaction between Tom and Meg though. I wonder if they'd done You've got Mail first if that would have happened, after seeing the chemistry between the two. They just looked like they fit together!

Now you sound like my husband! He likes my hair long. I had to cut it a year or so ago, because all the medication I was on had made it frizzy. I have naturally curly hair, so frizz is a way of life. LOL It's back down to about my shoulders now. I'm going to let it grow out for awhile and see how it looks. I'm most likely going to have to have another back surgery in the next month or so, and the anesthesia made it come out by the handfuls last time.

You're right she does look nice with her hair long. But she usually has it short. I like "Prelude to a Kiss" with her and Alec Baldwin. It was a cute movie. THe first movie between Ryan and Hanks is a little known "Joe vs the Volcano" She had long hair in that one too.

What country are you from? She is an American actress that has been making movies for about 20 years. She is very petite, blonde headed and blue eyed, with an engaging smile that makes you want to smile too. She can be really funny but if the script calls for it, then she can be amazing in a serious role as well. Several years ago, she did a movie called "Proof of Life" where her husband was taken hostage, and she had to hire a mercenary to get him back.
