I wasn't too pleased with the movie. I guess the film critics are losing their taste because they've said it was really great. It wasn't that great. They have not covered a lot of the possibilities because I wondered what happened to the submarines and the helicopters of the countries. I doubt that none ever thought of going on board, right? Similarly, the end wasn't that good either, only a few poor (the workers) were on-board. Most were the rich. So it gives us a grim future as well.
Not to mention that there weren't any Filipinos who survived hahahaha... What will the world be without Filipinos???

If you like special effects, it is over the top. I was irritated by the constant of driving and taking off while the road or airstrip was disintegrating, and especially the last Yellowstone scene. And that stupid pilot who refused to fly around tumbling skyscrapers. It would make more sense to pull up on the stick and fly over.

Yeah, it's a great movie. Include of fantastic visual effect. I'm very shocked when the big tsunami scene was damage the city. WoWw it's a spectacular if it were happened in real life. I think these are not take in 2012, it just a fiction. And maybe it will be happened in the end of day that all of us didn't know when it will be happened. Have a nice day.

I went to see it last night and thought it was awesome! There were similarities to "The Day After Tomorrow" but that was to be expected since they both had the same director. I guess you could say all of these disaster/blockbuster type movies are a bit predictable but I thought "2012" had a great story and the characters were really REAL, as in there were those you really loved and were rooting for and there were those you kind of WANTED to see get blown away...lol! Of course, there was the mandatory cute little dog...

I also was not too pleased with the movie. I felt that it lacked something. I found the acting below par as well as the screenplay and direction. The visuals were great and the one of the plus points of the movie. I thought it would get the oscar in that department. Let's just wait and watch.
