with technology getting everyday, people are able to create a lot of fake things to replace real things. like fake flowers instead of real flowers, and man-made diamonds instead of real diamonds. it is ok for people to fake flowers, becuase they last forever, and are cheaper. however, real diamonds and man-made diamonds look exactly the same. the have the same chemical makeup and and weigh the same, it is really hard for people to distinguish between real and fake diamonds. the problem is, should people buy real diamonds or fake diamonds? they all look the same, so wearing real diamond jeulery doesnt make you look richer then people wearing fake diamond julery. so what is the point of buying real diamonds now? what will you buy?

It depends on what kind of things you are going to buy.If you wanna buy fake flowers i think it will be ok and it's your choice, the fake flowers will stay longer. But if you buy the things which are modelled wiht some big brand, then you should not.For that have already threatened other'so interestes and it so much bad.So before you decide to buy them just hold on a second.

yea i agree. those products are copying other people's idea, so you should never buy them, even if they are cheaper.

I don't like fake things. They can never replace the original. If I have money to buy diamond the certainly i will buy it. But if I don't then I see no point buying fake diamond. Also they don't look same. If you look properly fake diamond is no match for real diamond.

no... right now, some manufactuers can create diamonds that look Exactly the same as real one. they reflect light in the same way, same color, and if you cut it well, only professionals can tell by closely examining it.

If I have the money, I will the real article. It's a good investment. You can translate real gold and diamond to cash in times of need.

It is all up to the buyers choice in my opinion. If you like technology go for it then, if you like the real thing just go for that. In my opinion, I'd go for the real thing as you know what it is made from, well at least. I'm not sure about artificial things because you don't know what chemicals were used to make them and also it could be more dangerous than the original one. Happy mylotting.

well, you can actually see the brand names on the products but you cant tell if a diamond is real or fake.

Although in this age of technology it is hard to tell a real diamond from a fake one, each of us,even when in a hurry, would be able to make an educated guess. For this, of course, one would need first to educate themselves about things such as diamond cut, clarity, color, carat etc. You could start with this page for example:
http://www.darasdiamonds.com/education or any other resource for that matter. The point is to learn as much as possible. There are a couple of tests that allow you to identify a real diamond. They are: a scratch test (real diamond scratches glass), a breathing test (real diamond almost leaves no vapor), clarity test (you won't be able to read through a real diamond) and others.
