I love writing and reading loveletters. Whenever I have a chance, I would scribble even a short one for my boyfriend and a very long one for my loved ones who are far from me.I love the feeling it gives me whenever i do read one from my boyfriend. It is a different feeling when he's only texting me. But with a fast pacing life and development of technologies that enable us to keep in touch with almost everybody, loveletters are considered a thing in the past.Do you agree? Do you still scribble words of love for your partner? Thanks in advance.

Hello, Prof.:)
When I was still too young for love, I would write love letters for my friends' beloved ones. It was so silly that i've to put myself into their shoes to somehow get an idea of how they feel. I was enjoying the feeling of being in love and I told myself that when the right one for me comes, I'll shower him with loveletters.
I've several boyfriends but I only wrote loveletters to only to boyfriends. One of them is my husband.LOL
Thank you, Prof, for sharing your thoughts.,though.Have a lovely day.:)

I also think that love letters still exist although of course only to a certain extent now... Like me, I don't really like the act of writing. My handwriting is bad and I think I type faster, thus for me its just better to type.
But I agree that it is still different to get/write a hand-written love letter. Like for my boyfriend, I know he wants to receive such things coz he is more sentimental than me. Hehe. It is still different to get something that is tangible, you can touch, you can feel, you can see/sense the effort that was given in writing the letter.

Well i dont have a girlfriend but i do have an opinion on this. Love letters in today fast paced world of communication have started becoming a rare mode of expressing our emotions. But a letter can express emotions much more then any other way. so i must says, its good you are keeping up with the trend of love letters at the end, old is gold.

I think keeping a love letters to your love one is still have an impact into your relationship especially when you really end up to marriage. It is happy to read those fun and sweet memories you express through writings because in writing you can express all your thoughts and feelings towards the person and it is a nice thing to share with how you keep your love flaming through love letters.

With the development of technologies, it is becoming a fact that love letters is out of date gradually.
You see, when we want communicate with others, there are lots of tools and services that allow us to keep in touch with them. For example, we can build a social network relationship with Facebook and other social sites. Besides, there are still some IM tools and E-mail is still a useful way to communicate with our friends. However, for some people, love letters have unique meanings. Compared with other communication methods, writing love letters may be a more realistic way to build a steady relationship with our love.
If I have some spare time, I tend to write a letter to my girlfriend because she doesn't like to keep in touch with me through cellphones and other instant message tools.

Loveletters have been replaced by emails and text messages. Some people prefer to be on the phone and talk to the other person right away instead of writing a loveletter. But I know that some people do still write loveletters. I consider a very romantic and deep gesture.

hello eurekafemme!
well, well i think love letters are not a thing of the past...for me its still the sweetest thing among others... i just don't know why but i always have this heart for writing my feelings down...till now, i still give my husband those love letters, whether its just a short one or even just a one liner...hehe
i think, love letters that we wrote are more personal and more sincere...huh! well, its just my opinion.
and know what, when my husband & i are stil bf/gf, we have a long distance relationship for a year, and i think my letters to him saves our relationship somehow...coz i always send him a letter once or twice a week even if there's phone to call...but its just that, my husband is not into writing, coz i remeber, he just send me 1 or 2 or 3 letters all in all! haha only when there's occasion. but its better than nothing!
for me, i would still love to receive love letters or even friendly letters...and i am also willing & love to send one...
happy weekend!

it is so nice to write a love letter to your lover!
when you really deeply fall in love ,you will have the emotion to express your love and feel great and happy when you write!I totally object to such peolple who always keep saying busy not have time to write!
i do not consider love letter as a past thing ,it could totally touch your heart deeply!
sometimes i scribble words for my lover,i feel so good !

I still believe in the "Power" of love letters. I write every now and then just as a reminder or a sign of affection. Sometimes, even if you know that a person does love you, it still feels nice to see it written down, or expressed through different forms.
When I have to leave, I'd normally leave random notes in different places for my boyfriend. They'd be at his bedside or sometimes even in his shoe so he'd see it when he slips them on.
I think love letters are small gestures but they make a great impact. They don't cost much to make, so why not? :-)

Yes it is still existing. Because love never gives up, never loses in communication may it possible in any way to express whatyou felt. It gives me endurance to continue what we have in our relationship. It is also a way of expressing what we feel.
