Are you a Christian? Do you consider yourself one? Or do you just consider yourself as a church goer or a religious fanatic? For me, Christianity is having a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. Its not just a weekly or Sunday ritual that we do just so other people will look at us differently in a good manner. I consider myself as a Christian because I accept Christ as my God and Saviour. Plus I talk to him unscripted and sincerely.

no I don't.
I've never been a Christian, or believed in the possibility of Christianity as a true spiritual path.
I am Pagan, and have an ongoing and close relationship with the Gods I know to be the true Gods.
I've never felt a need to dabble with other peoples Gods

If Christianity means having a genuine relationship with the Jesus Christ, then maybe I am a Christian. I pray every moment of everyday and not only are all my prayers answered, (I'm in a constant conversation with him) but God opens my eyes to new insights.
Unfortunately I've found Christianity as practiced by religious leaders to be a ritual of pride and self righteousness, the opposite of what Jesus taught. Even more unfortunate is that for some, it is not enough to be a Christian, you have to be the "right Christian." Meaning you have to be a Lutheran, a Baptist, a Methodist. Compare that to Paul talking about one saying, "I was Baptised by Apollos, I was Baptised by Paul." What is a Lutheran, What is Baptist? They only water the plant but it is Christ who brings forth growth.
Too many times I've come across religious people who would say things identical to the Pharisee's prayer. "Lord I thank you I am not like the other men." He who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

I'm a christian, catholic to be precise. I do go to church each Sunday when I'm home. Unfortunately, I don't go when I'm off at college. But I enjoy it and my religion. I used to go to Youth group quite a bit when I was younger. Throughout my life, I've met a lot of friendly people as a result of youth group and church.

Hello Mchavez. We are Christians and we don't go to a building to learn the word of the Lord. We listen to a great teacher everyday on the internet, http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.cfm. This man has taught us many things. I have been to just about every church in the USA and have never been taught by anyone like this man teaches. I was taught that we would all fly away some day this man teaches us that we will be here when the anti christ comes. He teaches us chapter by chapter verse by verse. He teaches the real mark of the beast, I was always taught that it would be a mark in your hand or your forehead, which is wrong it is in your mind. He offers a free cd or tape of the mark of the beast. They don't even charge for the shipping and handling it is totally free. It is always nice to meet another Christian. Have a great day!
