What's your tactic on getting referrals with PTC sites?

I've been a part of several PTC sites during the past month or so and only managed to get about 6 referrals altogether. How do you guys usually gather up referrals? How do you promote your PTC websites? I'm curious to learn what other MyLotters are doing.

What I did was put banners in my profile of the sites I am doing and I got referals that way. I think I have close to 40 referrals, and not all are active, but I am happy and glad that I have them. When they are active, I can get the payout much faster, than if they aren't active, or I didn't have any at all. If you have a blog, which I don't, then you can put the sites on it that you are doing, and that might generate referrals as well. If I knew how to do a blog, I would do one, but alas, I don't know how, so I just put banners up in my profile and I am getting them that way, so it is all good. I have a sent referrels to a couple of my friends and rented a couple only with my balance from that site..... Most of these sites you can not upgrade until you rent referrels twice first...... So that actually gives you enough time to find more friends which i have in the mist of it all NOW that people are seeing some green coming into my pocket they are not skeptical and want to know how..... One thing to learn you should never have to pay for any job..... IT is just like out in the real world if they want you to work they will pay you..... Don't take money out of your paypal for anyone, if they will not let you upgrade or anything else from your balance chances are you will get scammed today or some other day down the way.

Great advice hagirl! That's quite true. I recently rented 20 referrals on Neobux and I'm actually earning quite a bit! I agree - if you're not sure about a website, do not waste money on them.

Hi chrisanimelo, actually its really hard to get referrals, as for my own experience hehe.. but I don't focus on that anymore. I just focus on my real job online, you could visit my blog if you like, its all about how I'm earning online, its on my profile. =)

Hi, I just visited your blog and became a follower..hehe. By the way, I was happy to read your post about ehow. I haven't really had the time to try study the possible earnings I may get there, hope you could post a little about how to earn on ehow.. (I know I'm a bit lazy..lol) But I'm just usually busy with my online work that I tend to not have time to keep researching on some things.=)

Iam Ravi who have responded to your discussion before.You mistook the website name as virefie.com.but it is "vinefire.com".I tried it.Dont think that its a scam.Please check the spelling.You follow it or not that doesn't bother to me.I told what i have known from my experience.
