mindless groups

have you ever joined a group/site that later you find to be mindless or useless?i join one and the owner does nothing but keep making more mini groups and not much with the ones he already has made.everytime he makes another group you get a message telling you about it,i wouldn't mind but when your in 35 of his groups you get 35 messages about it.and if he posts a picture in each of them you get 35 messages telling you about it which wouldn't be that bad but his buddy post a thank you after that and you can see what kind of pain it has started to become 35 + 35 gives you 70 in box messages and when you add a new group message you end up with 105 messages.i can see why serveral people have opted out of this group because you can find the same pictures on other sites and there are some that he hasn't even posted there yet.i don't even read them anymore just delete them.have you ever had this kind of problem before?
