money and how to save it

I look at the reasons for why I would need those expensive things. If really there isn't a need for it, I wouldn't buy and would just save the money. Unless I really2x need it like for work purposes or something, I wouldn't buy and splurge.

I try to think of a better and more expensive thing I want to buy and try to save for that instead of spending my money right now.Somehow there is always a better product in the market than the one I want to buy or maybe another superior product gets launched while I am trying to save up for the old one.This keeps me from actually buying something which is a bit of a luxury for me.

I remember my bank account balance and realize I don't want to spend the rest of my life in debt by putting it on my credit card.

I think is a question of willpower. We have to learn to be more than a machine to buy things and more things that we don´t need. You just have to get used to buy what do you really need and like.
