I had been to China for massaging last year. It is really bad to me. The lady there massaged my body, it was comfortable. But after massaged my body, she suddenly turned my head and neck. I heard the sound and I felt a bit pain at that time.
When I came back to my home, the pain is getting more and more. I saw the doctor and spent a lot on it for some treatment.
If you really like massaging, find some professional persons, otherwise you will get hurt!

My husband and I loves massage. Even before we were married we usually visited massage parlor every month. For us, it relieves tension and stress from everyday life. I guess, you had visited a new massage parlor. I remember, turning the head or neck is not a good massage. Look for established and well known massage parlors in your area.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience! I've never had a professional massage, though sometimes my boyfriend rubs lotion into my back. I do go to the chiropractor a lot for my scoliosis though. Perhaps someday I'll try to look for a place to get a professional massage.

whoa, sounds like she didn't have proper training. that can be lethal!
the masseuse I've seen always make me feel better than i did than before i went to see them. although I've never asked to see their certification, lol.
