Hey friends, Yesterday evening I saw a Bollywood movie based on the floods which occurred in 26th July 2005, in Mumbai. It reminds me of an incident where one of my college friend who helped two tourists who were in dismay that night. Actually two women from France I remember were struck in a railway station that night as trains were halted due to floods. It was a very shallow night as not many people were on the streets and whoever got struck had to face tremendous problems and no where to go as it was pouring quite heavily. My friend saw those two ladies and asked them whether they would like to go to their place and after some hestitation they agreed. He lives with his family, so they were very comfortable and went to their hotel next evening when train services resumed. Well those tourists thanked my friend and said they least expected that someone would be so helpful to them in such a terrible night. Iam glad that my friend helped those poor tourists in such a difficult time and that’s what humanity is all about. So friends do u have any such incident to share? Have you ever helped some one or got help when u least expected? Cheers, Tutul

Hi ranvir, Well where were u in mUmbai during that night? As the loylying areas of Mumbai was in extreamly bad shape. I live in a hilly region and there was very minor damages but services like trains, buses etc got affected here. But people of mumbai did a spelendid job by helping each other and there was no signs of discrimination wahtsoever that night. Hindus, muslims and everyone were there in the street to provide help and which was so good to see. I remember Gujrat riots & the earth quakes were deadly as well. BTW i travel to a place name Wankaner a lot of times in Gujrat. Cheers, Tutul

I have to concentrate on many things like kids, career so sometime can't get time to use mylot and sometime feel helpless. Ok leave it I can't forget those days in mumbai where all services stopped within hours of rain. There were lots of water logged around area. At that time i was in Santa Cruz. I was attending Yoga, that helped me a lot to think positive. due to this positivie thinking, train started on according to my schedule and left mumbai on time. have a nice time.
