Well the first session is over and the Scorecard reads 105/4. Having decided to bat first on a belter of a track, after winning toss, India started off disastrously with the scorecard reading 32/4 at one stage. Thanks to some rescue act from Dravid and Yuvi India crossed the three figures without further damage. The inexperienced Lankan bowling ripped the Indian top order and the first session clearly belonged to the Men from the Island nation. India also has only two seamers, which means an off day for either one of them can prove to be disastrous. Given the prevalent situation, who do you think is the favorite to win the first test between India and srilanka, which is currently being played out at Ahmedabad?

It is too early to say with even not the first inns in the mid way. There are lot of factors which will play a viral role like the condition of the pitch. The team total for the first inns and things like that. But yes, right now the match is well posed. Indian can have a slight advantage because they were in a very bad condition and still recovered from that which will give them a mental boost.

At the moment Sri Lanka are right on top. Yuvi and Dravid have to bat out of their skins to put up a respectable score for the formidable batting line up of the Lankans. How come it is always Dravid who stands tall under such circumstances? What happens to the rest of the batting stalwarts? Everyone seems to be in the one day hangover now except Laxman. He really played poor shot. I hope we see a fantastic partnership that turns the match right around.
