We all love mullah, and we all desire materialistic objects. But would you rather have a career that earns you vast amounts of money and little job satisfaction and interest, or would you rather have a career that you are interested in and gives you great satisfaction but less income? I think I'd find a career that is in between, one that I'd enjoy and one that will let me live comfortably, but not extravagantly.

yeah thats what i found zhouxi, if i had to do work that is boring and i find not interesting, i would be tired of it after a few hours, because of what i will do in the future(im still at uni) i think i could do it till i retire, thats another 40 years:( even if i could not live extravagantly.

In my own opinion I would prefer to have a career that earns me greatly even having a little job satisfaction and interest. My purpose for my job is to earn money. If I could not find satisfaction from my job, maybe I will try to find it in other way. I will try to find interest in other thing aside from my job.

Yeah thats what i used to think too, but then I realized that we are at our jobs for 8 out of 24 hours of the day, that is 1/3 or 33% of our lives. Thats a fairly large proportion of our lives, and if it is really boring like accounting or something similar (for me), then I think even though I'd find some thing else interesting outside of work, going to work in the morning will be difficult.

This one is easy for me, because I have had both,! I've had jobs that made lots of money, but some of the jobs that I had didn't make as much money, but I enjoyed them so much, that to me they were not even jobs, they were just a pastime that they paid me for! For me money doesn't mean that much to me, when I need money, I have ways of making all that I need, I just enjoy living life, with my kids and grandkids!
