I didn't expect to have our first snowfall so soon in the middle of November this year. Usually it snows in late December or January or February.
This morning I got up only to find that the trees and bamboo leaves were covered with silver white snow, with almost everything in white. To be frank, I love to have and see snow.
Right now it is still snowing and the temperature right now is getting lower than that of yesterday. It is 0 to 5 degrees centigrade and it will be -1 to 3 degrees centigrade tomorrow. Now I can hear the howling wind outside.
Here is a photo of snow I took this morning (November 16th,2009) for you to share with me. It is the small river outside my apartment.
So are you having your first snowfall this year? Do you like snow?

Yeah, I know that the north of China started to have snow earlier. The snow we are having is starting to melt. I think that it will need a few more days for it to get totally melted. Stay warm, friends.

Hello xx. It seemed that it snowed in the north of JX. So which city do you live, please? If you live in the north of the province, I am sure that you will have a chance to see snow in winter. Stay warm, friend.

First of all thanks for uploading the snow covered picture. It is a rare picture for me as there is no snow fall in South India. I have never seen any snow fall in my life. When it is 20 degrees I shiver and get breathing problem. I wonder how you are all bearing -1 degree temperature. May be you are used to it and I too would have become used to it, if I were there. The river is so beautiful and it is a lovely scenary to look at.

Of course it is a wonderful scenary to look at. But I have to travel to some far off place. Let me see if I can. It is worth travelling to such places to see the wonderful snowflake filled trees and snowfall falling.

Hello Buchi_bulla. It is true that you will like to watch the snowflakes when it snows because it does look beautiful, but if you really have such a plan to pay a visit to a place where it snows in winter, I suggest you wear thick and warm clothes. Otherwise you will feel very cold wearing the clothes you usually wear in your place, where you have never had snow. It is really very cold today in my place because the temperature right now is -2 to 3 degrees centigrade. We have not had the weather so cold when it is still November. I guess it is mainly because of the cold air from the far north. It is expected to have a few more days that it is so cold. I am now starting to wear more warm clothes to stay warm. Have a good day, my friends.

Don't you think it's really a beautiful thing to watch the scenary which was covered by the glittering white snowflake?

Hello friend. It is good weather you have all the year round. What is good is that the temperature is neither high nor low with rain at night for the earth to absorb some water that is needed for the plants to grow well. Enjoy yourself, friend.

Hello my friend williamjisir Ji,
Well, I am not from taht part of my country, where snowing is common in winter. I am from plains. There are no hills aroundus. But I like winter, at times temperature reduces to below zro. But we had such experience indecember 2003 in NY-USA. We were in snowing and 3-4 ice formed around our ways. But for a change it was OK. I would like to remain in tolerable temperature.
May God bless You and have a great time.

Hello friend. You are located in a nice place as to be in a plain. I am in the east part of China within the Yangtze Delta, which is also a plain, but we have some small mountains around as well as some high mountains. The four seasons we have are very clearly to be felt of the year. Right now it is winter and when it gets windy, it is very cold. But when the sun is out, it can be warm staying in the house next to the window where you can enjoy its warmth, but not outside when it is windy.

Hello friend. I guess that it seldom snows there in Guangdong Province as it is much warmer there. Yes, it snowed here in Zhejiang. It has been very cold ever since the first snow. These days I don't like to go out once I get into the house. Enjoy your work and the nice weather there, friend.

It is impossible to have snow here. I like the snow, but I am so afraid of the coldness. I don't like the frozen weather because I don't even want to go out. I know many places in our country has become so cold. I can see it from TV. By the way, you changed your avatar and I hardly recognize you:)
I love China

Yeah, I am one of them with my colleagues. I guess that you have found me standing there. This is one of my latest photos taken more than a week before the snow came to us. We were standing together with my farmer friend I made last year, which was mentioned in one of my old discussions. I revisited him together with my colleagues when we were having a bike ride in November. It is nice to see my farmer friend. I took some photos of them and will send them the photos when the weather becomes warmer next year.
I see that it is nice and warm in Guangzhou, a very nice city with good weather. I still remember the year when I went to the city in the hope to find a job in a company to work as an interpreter and translator, but in vain. I love the city, as it is close to my hometown and many such reasons.

Beautiful photo by the way.

We haven't gotten any snow yet, in fact its still 65 degrees here today, its nice outside and the sun's shining. We usually won't get snow till about January, and then its not much, it will be melted by noon. I like snow if its just a little bit, if we get alot of it, I'm ready for it to be gone in a few days. I'm in Oklahoma, in the US.

Pretty picture.
No we have not gotten our first snow fall yet, thank goodness. I hate driving in snow it makes me crazy.
I don't like snow very much. It is really pretty, and it is pretty in pictures but I hate actually having it mostly because of dangerous driving, if I don't have to drive any where I don't mind it, but I never do anything to enjoy it either. I don't ski and the last few years I have not even made a snow man. For some reason when the snow comes so does illness for me. We didn't have a lot of snow last year but when we did I had the flu and could not go outside, by the time I felt better the snow was nearly gone.

Yeah, I see that cold weather usually causes more flu cases. Right now the swine flu in China is not reducing, but increasing because of the cold weather because when it is cold with snow, people tend to stay inside to keep themselves from the cold, Thus the flu gets more popular. I wish it would not stay so cold due to the flu.

I've been in the Philippines my whole life and we never had winter. And now, it's my first time in US and now staying in Utah and it started to snow here. And yea it's freezing, seriously freezing and I'm so freezing. It'll be my first time to experience snow, and I don't think I'd like winter cause it's too cold for me. But it'd be fun to do snow sports I guess.. I'm still amazed with the snow.. It seems you can make snow cones from it.

Hello smooch. I can see that you might not like the cold as you are used to the warm weather in your country. I used to have a colleague from your country and it was the first time for her to have experienced snow in our place. She got very excited with the snow. I think that it is a good experience for one who has never experienced snow in her life. I wish you to stay warm, friend.
