How do you utilize your time?

I am wondering this because I have had great trouble lately utilizing my spare time. I have so many things I would like to accomplish but it just always seem as though I never have enough time to really engage in any one activity (mainly because I have children that need me). I know writing lists helps me to stay focused on certain tasks, but are they the tasks that REALLY need to be done? I mean is cleaning more important than working on my child's baby book? How do you rate your tasks?

I find that I spend too much time cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, and not enough time playing, playing, playing.

I think writing down goals and lists of things to do helps tremendously.

I also had many plans, but I didn't have enough time to finish all. It made me get bored and I was lazy in the executable tasks also. Then one day, I decided to simplify my plans, trying to do what are really necessary and stopping dreaming of what are off my handle.
Now I'm satisfied with a less busy life.

Well, I'm not currently working and so I have fallen into this trap of having a lot of time on my hands! However, I do try to use the time wisely and so I am presently studying. I do the things that I have to do and I don't generally rush! If you rush then this can only cause undue stress! I work on getting one thing completed before moving on to the next thing. This has worked for me and it has certainly helped me to get things done, more things I would think. Your situation sounds quite difficult though as you have a child. I think that there has to be a sense of priority. You sound like you are coping with things though. Andrew
