BAL THACKAREY's DIRTY ATTACK on SACHIN

I should like to give my opinion about this non-sense of bal thackarey.Its a shame for us that a person of such low thinking and mean character can be so high in position.He can make this type of comments because he knows that there are people(infact quite a few in number) who blindly support him and follow his whimsical decisions. Just because to gain publicity,he always tries to be in the limelight.This improvement of marathi and all is just fake,he just wants to increase his vote bank. Its not the 1st time,he has done anything like this.Sachin definitly did the right thing.Infact every Indian belongs to India first,then to any state or city.I think its high time that we start understanding his dirty politics and think logically.

What Mr. Bal Thackeray doesn't realise is that Sachin is such a big icon only because he playes for India and not only for Mumbai team. There have been players who have better record playing for mumbai than Sachin but we dont even remember them now. Sachin has fans all over the country and even around the world. Bal Thackeray doesn't realise that people have become wise and the dirty tactics that he used decades ago to woo maharashtrian voters will not work now.people understand that the basic issues are food, water and basic necessities and not whether one is proud to be maharashtrian first or Indian. I hail Sachin for showing that he does care for the country before his state or city. If dirty minds like Bal Thackeray are given their freedom it wouldn't be far before INdia turns into "United states of India" and then to States of India" as there is no unity left now. I hope the common Marathi Manoos will have more sense to reject Thackerays Thoughts and enjoy Sachin and his Game.

I agree that icons like Sachin should be left alone and not used for political mileage. But I also feel that we are giving unnecessary attention to this topic which should simply be ignored and let it die. If unnecessary publicity is not given to such issues, then the political mileage of these issues will come down and such things will slowly die down. Cheers! Ram

I saw sachin's video, he just says that "Mumbai is the part of India and I am proud to be maharastrian, but first I proud to be an indian" I don't think he said anything wrong which will hurt Maharastrians. I think Balthankre wants to be in limemight, so just he gave statement about Sachin. Remaining part did my Media.

Its actually a mind game played by Thackeray!! Thackeray is known for his ridiculous and inhuman activities. His past activities fetched him a bad image in politics. He is literally an unknown figure right now. But when it comes to Sachin, one of the greatest batsman in the world, it is very difficult to comment on him. To comment on a person like Sachin, one should at least be a near perfect man. It is obvious that people with narrow minds try to fetch fame through some unpopular ways like bullying a Great personality, defaming him etc. These are all ways to gain fame and definitely the people are not going to believe it. Nowadays people in India are gaining knowledge on almost all activities. Its very difficult for the politics to play spoilsport herein the future.

Well i think he is trying to get some prominence by commenting on him. I mean I am sure everyone will agree that what sachin said was nothing objectionable. and so the comment was actually not needed.

The unwanted criticism by self styled Hindu Samrat, Bala Saheb Thakrey has brought him down to dust in the current political era. Really, it is very sad to see and read such an article from respected Bala Saheb Thackrey throwing his opinion on Sachin's gentle push to the media. All this is nothing but to gain an upper hand over the current euphoria lodged by Raj Thackrey over Marathi Manoos issue. It is highly regreted that honourable Bala Saheb Thackrey tried to intervene the hooliganism of MNS by taking shelter of the simple statement of ALL TIME GREAT Sachin, who never never got involved in any type of controversy in his spotless 20 years of cricket and only brought laurels to the nation, India. In fact, if Hindu Samrat Bala Saheb Thakrey applauded Sachin on this score, he would have got several supporting opinion on this aspect, but, unfortunately, it is a sorry affair that Sahcin has been mis-interpreted by his own Maharashtriangreat Bala Saheb Thakrey. Be a good Maharashtrian. You all should destroy buses, taxis, vandalize shops, hurt everything or everyone who rises his voice. This is the culture the S.Sena and MNS are asking people to follow because these things were done by the greats like Shivaji and many other leaders in the past. So there is nothing wrong in asking people to follow the culutre being preserved by S.Sena and MNS. You all should appreciate the troubles these parties are taking and going through in preserving this culture! Hail S.Sena and MNS!

Yes my dear friend you are right, bal thackeray slam back on Sachin is very silly. If Andhra people say that Hyderabad belongs to only Andhra pradesh people and same is said by other regions then country will be divided in this way. First anyone who lives in India and citiziens should first think that they are Indians first and then anything else after that.. What Sachin has said is right and I am supporting him, I don't care what dirty mind of politician says..

This mentality is common with all the politicians. They just behave like a child fighting for a chocolate. Sachin should not mind these non-sense and have to maintain his gentleman character.

Balasaheb's reaction is hardly surprising. He can't see beyond his nose. It is time he realised that people can read his intentions very clearly. We will never progress as a nation if we are unable to shed our prejudices, follies and weaknesses.

Just Chill, Now a days every one is aware about the CHEAP and unwarranted publicity these thakres wants... People of India are sensible enough to understand and evaluate the weitage of the words... Thakres seems to be crossing the limits as they seem that they are some one who are not approchable or on whom the actions will not be taken... This is purly because of the lousy approach taken by the Govt of India as they are tolerating these nonsense and not taking the stern actions. These Thakres seem to be derriving pleasure dragging the celebrities like Mr. Amitabh Bachhan, Sachin, etc to the controversary... Jago Bharat Jago... Just start a movement to take action against Thakre (Bal) as well as (Raj) as enough is enough... Just imagine they have problem even when some one wants to take oath in "HINDI". I request the media to stop propagating these useless things and completely boycott THAKRE and family. I think because of the media's hipe and Govt. inefficiency.. Thakre is under 'uncontrollable mode'
