How much coffee do you drink a day? How do you drink your coffee? I just started drinking coffee not too long ago and the only way I will drink it is if I put flavored creamer or cappuccino in it. I can't stand the taste of coffee without these things in it. My husband drinks it either straight black or with a tiny bit of sugar in it. I don't know how he does it. I drink five cups a day and I have energy all day to get the housework done. Without my coffee now, I have no energy. Do you have to drink coffee to keep up with the hectics of daily life? :)

I think you are addicted to coffee with your five cups per day. Better cut it down to two cups per day, otherwise you will face problems later on.
I try to limit to two cups per day, but not always successful. Sometimes drink three cups, especially when the weather is cold.
I have just one cup today, I opt for a cup of peppermint herbal infusion in the afternoon even thought the urge to take the second cup of coffee is very strong. I usually drink instant coffee.

I am not addicted yet. I can go without with no problems. I just like to drink it because it gives me the energy I need to get things done. Without that energy, I get nothing done. You think I am bad with my five cups a day, my husband drinks 10 to 15 cups a day! Thanks for responding! :)

[b]Long ago I had a friend who was addicted to coffee, & drank upwards of 25 cups a day. He would haunt all-night diners & coffee shops, & now & then we'd sit & chat for a long time, I with whatever I had to drink (this was before I learned to like coffee...), & he with a carafe of coffee the waitress always brought--she was very familiar with Bill.
One day, though, he suddenly became very ill, & his doctor said he had to give up The Evil Brew. Quite a blow for Bill, who loved the stuff! But he'd had some odd effect from his last of countless pots, & turned as yellow as if he were suffering from jaundice! Poor Bill!
Years later, he finally was able to take a cup once in awhile.
So be careful, don't overdo it. We don't want to lose a good MyBotter!

Hi, cwilson26. I don't drink coffee everyday. To be honest with you, I hardly drink it in any day. The last time that I had coffee was probably in January of this year. To have energy for the entire day, I will drink CranEnergy by Ocean Spray. This drink keeps me up almost all day!

I didn't start drinking until this year. I used to hate it but I started needing the extra boost and decided to try it with creamer or cappuccino and now I like it. I won't drink it with something to flavor it though. Thanks for responding. :)

I meant I won't drink it without something to flavor it, lol. There I go typing too fast again! :)

[b]I drink a cup a day, mostly to kick-start myself, but I have developed a taste for it--especially amaretto-flavored (but I can't afford that, now...darn it...). Before I was diabetic, I drank it black with clover honey. Now I use Splenda.

One cup definitely doesn't do it for me. I have to have at least five a day to get myself going. I have never tried honey in mine. Sounds good though. Thanks for responding. :)

[b]Orange blossom honey, or even just mixed wildflower honey are also good. Experiment a bit. I think you might like it!

Nice topic to talk about. For me I was drinking way too much about 3 weeks ago. I was drinking about 2 pots of it! I know that is way too much. I only drink about 3 cups a day now. I got really sick at the begining of Dec so I did not drink it all when I was sick and I think that is what helped me ween myself from my 2 pots a day!
I only put milk in mine because I dont need the surgar. I did not become a hard core coffee drinker until about 2 years ago. I never drink it only once in a blue moon but now it seems like I need at least one cup to start my day. I do like flavored coffee but my monthly food budget will not allow me to spend on extra stuff like that. Someday I hope to be able to drink nice flavored stuff! :)

Wow! That is a lot of coffee! I had to quit adding cappuccino to it because it started making me sick so I switched to flavored creamer. I now drink coffee with french vanilla creamer and it still tastes good. I have quit drinking it every day though because I knew I needed to cut back. Now if I could just cut back on the soda that would be great! Maybe I will make that another New Year's resolution, to cut back on soda. Thanks for responding. :)

Hi cwilson, I daren't count how much coffee I actually drink but I do know it's way too much but if I take coffee out it is invariably the usual very small cup of Greek coffee unless they are in the mood to bring a double one. At home I drink either Greek coffee or ground coffee, I loathe instant. I could never put anything in my coffee, sketo all the way for me. No one puts milk in coffee here at all but some do have sugar but I cannot bear one grain near my coffee. If you are starting to drink a lot of coffee make sure to take a glass of water with every cup as well.

I only drink instant coffee. I have never tried brewed coffee before because all my husband drinks is instant so that is what I started drinking too. I have to have something in my coffee to give it flavor because I don't like it straight black. Thanks for responding. :)

Hi Cwilson26,
With reference to your question, I drink coffee a lot. It will never end the day without a coffee for me. Usually, I drink around 6 mugs of coffee in 1 day however, since I starting to grow old, I need to reduce it and just taking around 4 mugs a day. I feel relax and soothe whenever I take a coffee. Especially when I am thinking of an idea or making an article for posting. I see to it that I sip at cup of coffee before starting. Nevertheless, I am not a coffee dependent.
Thank you for the question.

I am not dependent on it either. I can go without but I like to drink it to give me the energy I need to get things done. Thanks for responding! :)

I love my coffee. I make a coffee as soon as I wake up in the morning. I probably drink around 6 cups of coffee each day. I dont know if this is too much?
My favourite brand is nescafe, but I am partial to trying some of the fancy ones.
I have a little milk & no sugar.

I have never tried milk in mine. Just creamer or cappuccino. I don't drink it as soon as I get up in the morning. I have a glass of pop to take my meds with and then when I get on the computer I drink my coffee. Thanks for responding. :)

One cup doesn't do it for me. I used to only drink 4 but now I'm on to five a day. I have never heard of herbal coffee before. I am going to have to try it now! Thanks for responding. :)
