Do you ever go to different restaraunts and notice the difference in the taste of the salsa they out on the table?And sometimes they will leave alot of chips and tortillas and by the time your food arrives you are almost full?Does this happen to you?

some restaurants do ,some dont, i find the mexican restaurants that give you the basic amount of food do, the ones that pile on the food dont. in 1 mexican restaurant outside atlanta they gave us a plate full of food that you just could not finish no matter how hungry you were,no chips or salsa was given at the beginning of the meal, id much rather take home some left over great mex food than a bag of chips. most basic neighborhood mex restaurants have everything cooked already and in a steam table except for the fried food like chimichunga's

I live in Texas there is alot of mexican restaraunts here but my faorites are the real mexican food places not tex-mex even though sometimes I do like to go to them they are just not the same. I love to take home food from those places too,you know chips enchiladas rice beans and whatever is left over is great for later!!

Yes, but I LOVE it. I swear, I could drink salsa. And for me, the more cilantro, the better... haha Yummmm.....
