Isn't it too early to put up a Christmas tree??

My wife asked me this past weekend when we are going to get our Christmas tree and put it up. I told her it isn't even turkey day yet what is the big rush. She told me the weather is nice out, we usually go and cut a tree down, and it would be nice to get it soon. I personally think about mid December is right but we usually get it a little earlier than that. It is too early to get it now isn't it?

I think when the stores start putting up their Christmas trees is the earliest you can start putting up yours. I have kids, so it's when the kids see the trees, they start asking about our own. I try to put it off a bit until the weekend. Because you know, it's not only the trees that they want up. They would also start asking for the lights outside the house.

well truth is I have seen a few out now and in the stores also. we usually wait till after thanksgiving and sometimes two weeks before Christmas. Just get tired of seeing it to much can be a bother to some.
