i just wanna ask you guys if nursing is not in-demand anymore in the US, Canada or UK. I'm planning to go there when i graduate. thanks

I think it still is the problem is to become one in other countries became harder compared before. I guess its because of the many sprouting nurses anywhere that only have diplomas but not the skills.... I think that's me... LOL... whatever... given up on that dream already...

The profession of nursing is never out of demand, regardless of country. There are always people getting sick, and there are always nurses retiring. :) As of the moment, there are different cases for each country that you mentioned. Log on to allnurses.com and search the forums for news and different ways to travel to these countries. I hope this helps! :)

there is a shortage of nurses in industrialized countries such as the US, canada, UK and japan. the reason is that few locals will take this job. so these countries need foreign workers to fill up the slack and need for nurses in hospitals and care centers. however, these countries have imposed strict guidelines and instructions before one can get in and take the job. this is what makes it difficult for foreign workers to work in these countries. goodluck in your plan.
