Once I had a lovely cat. Every time one of my family members come back home, she will get up from her sweet dream and shake her tail, than run to welcome. It is amazing that she can distinguish the sounds of my father's car from my neighbour's.
And what puzzles me is that she likes catching snakes and peeling off the skins of them then hiding them to the corners.

I dont know. I guess something about the snakes attracts her. I think there are some things that are not easy to explain. I guess she is attracted by the motion. Maybe you dont have many mice around where you are.

Thanks for your response. Oh, That's amazing. There are many mice around my home.Maybe my cat thinks it is more chanllening to catch snakes than mice.

A cat I used to have, The Doctor, was murder on mice, but because the snakes would curl up and stop moving, he didn't know what to do with them. At least she's taking care of them - NOT bringing them in the house to share
Not that I minded, mind you, I LIKE snakes, and would rescue them from his clutches...
However, when Singer was alive, he was murder on the snakes!
Maybe she can find the snakes easier than she can find mice so that's what she does...

This cat of yours is really gorgeous. It is the first time that I have heard of a cat catching a snake and peeling its skin. So this cat is really a fighter.
Also I think that it is very clever as to be able to recognize its master's car sound and run out to welcome him.

I've forgotten how many cats we have adopted, and there is a phenomenon that the cats nowadays don't like catching mouse at all. They prefer to play with butterfly or even a long rope. How amazing! And what's the cats going on?
