Do you agree? That the person's physical conditions affects the mood of the person? If you will ask me, i agree. It's like when i feel dizzy, i can't help but get angry if something irritates me even if it is a very small thing. According to Sigmund Freud, if there is something happening to our body, it affects the emotional and psychological aspects of an individual. Sometimes if my muscle aches, i feel i do not want to do anything and it makes me lazy and moody. How about you?

Definitely. A person can get moody if he doesn't feel ok. Like when blood pressure shoots up, one can get easily irked. Also during menopausal periods, women are too easily out of mood.

O yes you are right about that, when blood pressure goes up, o men it is better to just stay away for a while. A people who have high blood pressure may collapse if been provoked to a conflict or he/she may just say a lot of bad words to you. I also do agree with what you said about menopausal women, it's really bad to talk to them or have a conversation with them cause i am sure it will do nothing good. My mom is close to reach that stage i just hope i can compromise with the situation.

You are right about that, specially when we feel that we are useless if we cannot do anything, it really will make us feel more irritated and moody. Most likely when a person is used to doing so many things and so many work, and then he will be stuck in the house because of a flu, damn! I am sure it will be a hell to go through to talk on that person.

Yes definitely. Your current physical condition drive your emotions. A simple mouth sore can actually damage a lot of your relationships. You get irritable and stingy that sometimes you end up doing or saying things just because you want to be left alone. These of course later on you'll learn to regret and only hope that the people understand you weren't feeling well at that time.

You're absolutely right, a simple word can really make things worse if not controlled by people, it can really hurt people's emotions badly if not controlled. That is why it is better to stay a way for a while or keep a distance so that everything would be fine. Anyway the feeling is not for long, after that it will all be ok again, that is why it is ok to endure for a little.

I agree that a person's physical conditions affects the mood, but that doesn't mean the mood totally depends on the physical conditions! If I am feeling nauseated I also feel lazy...if I don't have energy I also feel low in mood...also it's to consider many diseases also put your mood down, being able to do something, or bound in bed...it's not nice.

You are right about that my friend, it is really true that it affects physical condition but... you are right again, not most of the time and sometimes not totally but still it affects it. Well it also depends on the people who will deal with it, sometimes other people knows how to control themselves. I remember one time when i needed to go to the hospital i really feel bad and my mood is not also good, the nurses and the interns keep asking me the same question over and over again, i am really irritated that time but still i control myself, it is a mind over matter situation. Thank you so much for the response.

I tend to agree with you. Both one's internal physical conditions and one's external conditions will affect your mood. If you are surrounded by clutter and dirt your mood will be depressed. Similarly if you are tired or in pain that does affect your mood.
It is hard to feel at one and well with the world when you are in physical discomfort.

You are right about that, and you know it is really hard to socialized when a people is not feeling well, no matter how hard we try to control ourselves not to be mean, we can't cause sometimes we do not already know what we are doing. Now i think Sigmund Freud's theory is one hell of a theory and i think it's not anymore a theory cause it is true. By the way, thank you for the sharing of thoughts, hope to see you again.

When I have not eaten enough or stay late at night i observe that I feel moody the next day I wake up in the morning. I do hate noise, loud talking and boasterious laughter. It makes me sulk for an hours until i take a napping session it is then i feel calm with my self and become more friendly to the people around me except when i do not feel happy i refuse to talk most of the times and rather spent my time in solitude.

So it is now proven because you experienced it most of the time, well i am the same as you, when i wake up, i hate noise, or even a person who is not smiling. I maybe mean but i am only human, i cannot control myself. Sometimes i shout at the person who irritates me, and sometimes i just ignore them for the whole day, damn, i am a mean guy. I guess i need a counseling to control my aggressiveness LOL!

I am in pain alot with walking and i have peoblems with sleeping due to the pain sometimes and that makes me sad and very very moody.I think that if i was not in pain then there would be soo many things i could be doing as well as soo many things i would enjoy doing. If i was not in pain i would not be moody or tired.

You are right about that, cause if we feel something not good about our body, we cannot do much work and that makes us think that we are useless, and it is very irritating, cannot be productive for even a minutes really makes me sad, then how about for a day? O well i do not know, how sad will be my mood is and how irritated will my feelings be, when that circumstances happens.

Yes it can, but from personal experience, the opposite is also true. A physical pain can be overridden by a good mood. At 57 I have a few physical gotcha's as the warrenty runs out on this body of mine. I am also a rather stubborn basstard and as I have had nasty side effects from medications I tend to be wary of them. Nonetheless, as much as I can (remember, I did say stubborn, quite, in fact) I do what is mentally/emotionally necessary to keep these gotcha's from controlling me and interferring with what I need do physically..like work, grocery shopping and such..following the philosophy that I own this body.It does NOT own me..
Enjoy!

I can't agree with you anymore. There are some apparent relstionship between our physical and mood of us.
When we are busy our current work, if we have contracted some diseases, then the present physical conditions may have a side effect on our working efficiency. For example, everytime when I meet such a bad situation, then I won't pay attention to current jobs and have to suffer the bad situation. Then, our mood may get worse and what we want to do is just to stop the work at hand and have a rest.
At the same time, if we are in bad mood, then sometimes, we may get sick too.

You are right about that, i agree with what you are saying too, but generally if people are having a problem within the physical aspects they become more irritated, not all people can be like, if he have a bad feeling or whatever physical problems that he was experiencing, he will just ignore it, yes i also see people who is like that also, but most often i saw people who are moody when they are really having a bad physical condition. And it is research proven, it was conducted by my fellow student's when i was still studying at college, they have 100 respondents and out of 100 participants, 95% of those are people who are getting irritated when they feel something bad about their body.

I couldn't agree more. No matter how much we try to be positive and in a good mood, our health does affect our emotions. Cranky sleepy just plan Blah at times. It Especially takes hold of those with real physical illnesses I remember my mom and father in law all to well when they were sick after strokes and heart surgeries. They honestly had become the most cantankerous people I ever met. As much as I loved my mom and still do (God rest her soul) I remember actually telling her once that if she couldn't find something nice to say then don't call me. It took her 2 days.

If I have a headache, I'm hungry, or my stomach hurts I have found that I do tend to be grumpier and "snap" at people. I try not to but I think it is because of not feeling good. It also seems that when your throat hurts you want to talk more then any other time!

Hi, rjvb I totally agree with you, I have the same feeling, when I was sick, or feel uncomfortable, it will affect my mood, I feel upset about that, and also feel lazy and dizzy, want to do nothing, just want to home, and all work stuff makes me feel so upset.
The physical conditions can really affect our mood, I think this can make sense in scientist.

Of course yes, based from my own experience. Whenever there's something wrong with my physical condition it affects my mood and emotion. Example, I have cold it would make me feel very sleepy and easily irritated.
