Do you think that it's right to tell people exactly what you think about the job they are doing? Is better or worse if this person is an elected official? And should you feel bad if you hurt their feelings?

If I think the person has an open mind, I'd talk to him or her. I would also take into consideration whether I have the right to speak to a person in that manner. Some people are closed books. They do not listen and they won't listen. In those cases, I wouldn't bother. If I think the person has an open mind and can take suggestion, I would speak to him/her.

thanks rg!
In the past, I have just sat back and not said a word and I've noticed lately that I have been saying what I thought and not really feeling bad. I used to be very concerned about hurting other people's feelings and in the process getting my feelings hurt.
