I love you

Am I the only one who thinks that phrase is being thrown around way too casually? Last time I check, it was a statement declaring ones feelings for another. I feel obligated to reply with "I love you" when a friend says it to me over a text. I don't like it, especially if I dont feel that way. Nowadays though, I guess it's just a common thing, huh? :/

It is way too common...I have to agree. For me, it seems that when you say it so often...and are ready to say it, and mean it to someone special...you don't have something reserved just for them.
It's a guilt trip and I also feel pressure to return the words...
