I believe that I received my first payment after my first month here. That was quite a long time ago (nearly four years, I believe) and MyLot, at the time, were paying rather more on average than they are now.
As you are probably aware (if you have read the Guidelines and the FAQs), there is no fixed amount 'per post'. We are paid according to the quality of our participation and this is calculated by a very sophisticated algorithm which we are not allowed to discuss or speculate on.
Quite a number of people manage to achieve at least the minimum payout of $10 a month, which means that their average daily earnings must be at least between $0.30 and $0.40. Many newcomers find it difficult to manage this at first but if you practice writing quality responses, make a habit of leaving good quality comments on responses you get to your own discussions and (most importantly) read and observe the Guidelines, you will soon begin to see your daily average increase provided you can spend a regular amount of time here.
Besides your activity in discussions, you can also earn by undertaking tasks. Provided that you read the instructions of each task carefully and only undertake those which you feel competent to do, you should have a high rate of acceptance and, depending on the payment offered, can substantially increase your income here.
MyLot is in no way a 'get rich quick' site and most who have been here for a while value it more as a means of entertainment and information and as a social site than for the amount it pays (which most people see as a bonus).
