Cellphone

Cellphones are not essential for life. They are very convenient and needed in certain situations, though. For instance, if your car breaks down you may have to walk miles to find the nearest gas station or pay phone because not too many people would be willing to let you use their house phone for fear of you being a stranger. Nope, I think they're just convenient. During those days, we can even live without cellphones.

No way. I wes well into my thirties before I bought my first mobile phone (and that was only so I could keep in touch with employment agencies). I got by OK. You don't need to be contactable every single minute of the day, in fact sometimes it's a good thing to switch off your mobile phone, get out into the countryside and enjoy the solitude.

I can still live my day with out it. And even my life with out it.

There are lots of things not essential to life but we use them anyway because they make our lives a lot more enjoyable and easier, such as computers, cars and of course cell-phones.

I think they are very important for one in his daily life. Without a cell phone a person is cut of from the world and the daily news about family and friends. Its the best and most needed gadget in this era of time.

I'm not sure if I'd say they were essential for life but they sure are very useful. Just to say worst case if someone had kidnapped you, they could possible track you down using your cellphone. I mean it has various different things to them that can help you out.
