Your first cooking experience!

I was very young when i first started cooking as i wanted to learn and help my mother with things in the kitchen. I cook almost everyday now and love it a lot. I feel cooking is a way to get other things off your mind. I think if you like it then you should do something with it in life. I have messed up a couple of things, but i have learned from that and asked what i needed to do next time to make it good. If i new my first cooking disaster i am sure it wasn't good at all. I remember cooking chicken and it came out the worst ever as it was dry and when i say dry i mean DRY. It was awful, but now i have learned and know now how to do it the right way. There are so many ways to cook just one thing and so many different recipes you can use for things. I just want to tell you of my cooking experience: this is not my first in my life but it is first with my husband. This is our first day together after marriage, I wanted to cook something special for us. So i went all the way to the market 6:00 am and bought ingredients for my "special noodles". I am in a hurry because i want to cook before he wakes up. I am very happy with the result because it tasted good for me. when he woke up he said what did i do? and seem surprise with what i did, to cut the story short, we have breakfast and he keeps on teasing me for my cooking...he keeps on laughing! I am so annoyed! I did that for him and he just laughs at my cooking??? Gosh! i cried and cried,tears flooding from my eyes! He then apologized and explains that he was just touched with i did and he swears never to do that again, he said he likes my cooking and he loves me. The end. :-)

I like cooking. When I was a child, I tried to make my first dish according to the cooking book. Actually it failed a little because it was burned a little bit. But it tasted well anyway. I am proud of myself:) I love China
