With the Lord a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as 1 day.

Don't be disheartened, nearer now is your salvation than when you first believed.

He is definitely coming back, but only God himself knows when. This is why we must keep the faith. While it may not be in my lifetime or yours, I do not feel that it is going to be much longer. Then again, people in the 1800's may have said the same thing. There is no doubt in my mind that He will return...

Yes, Jesus is coming back, we just don't know when. He did, however, give us some clues to let us know when it is near. One of the main clues is the reestablishment of Israel as a nation.

Jesus' second coming is written about in the Bible.
II Peter 3:8-9, TLB. "But don't forget this, dear friends, that a day or a thousand years from now is like tomorrow to the Lord. He isn't really being slow about His promised return, even though it sometimes seems that way. But He is waiting, for the good reason that He is not willing that any should perish, and He is giving more time for sinners to repent."

The Lord will be back. The most important thing to think about is whether or not we are prepared. We must continue to study his word diligently. Only then can we be spiritually ready to accept what we shall see at this time. Many will be deceived into thinking that the anti-christ is indeed Jesus. In the new testament which was written in Greek the word "anti" means "instead of" Jesus so although many churches teach that Jesus will come back first we must not let this message deceive us. Satan will be the first one back and he will be doing his very best acting job to make every one believe he is Jesus. We are not to know the exact day but by keeping our heads in our bibles we can spiritually discern how far we have come and how far we still have to go. We must keep our faith in him and he will not confound us.

Of course He is coming back. He said He would come and He will. Most people seem to think it will happen in their/our lifetime, but the Bible does also tell us that no man will know when He will come back.
Just know that if you believe in Him, you will see Him even if he doesn't come back to earth in your lifetime. We will all be together one day.

When I was young,I was thaught that theadvent celebrates 3 comebacks.
the one that happened 2000 years ago.
the one that will happen in the future...
and most important - the one that happens all the time that we open our hearts and let Him in.:)

Yes. He is coming back. If you read the bible, Jesus said, that only God the Father knows the exact time, but he gave hints of the "end time" in the book of revelation (last chapter in the bible). People focus too much on the question "When is the world going to end? (=the time when Jesus comes again)" And they worry about it. But the real question you should ask yourself is, "Are you ready to see Jesus tomorrow ?" What I mean is, we don't know when we are going to die. It can be soon, or it can be another twenty years. Are you ready to face God, if tomorrow is your last day ? Live one day at a time, and build your faith, He says.
