Photos that look photoshoped but arent?

A few times i have found some photos that looked photoshopped but really weren't.I always wonder what made them that way and why are they like that. Have you ever experienced this? Am I the only one?

You see, in the olden days where people don't have photoshop, they are actually professional photographers that didn't need photoshop to enhance photos. It comes with how they used their professional cameras, the settings and all. Not to mention the talent to see a good shooting positions.
