If you don't know what a V Smile is, it is a gaming system for young children with educational games that you can purchase for them to play. When my daughter was about 4, we bought her a V Smile for Christmas. She played and played it. I loved the games because they are so educational. Hers finally broke about year ago. I would say it was well worth the money and it lasted for a very long time. Now, my son just turned 3 yesterday and for his birthday, I bought him a V Smile. He has fallen in love with it! He does really good with it and the V Smile now comes with a microphone and the game that comes with it has songs that the child can sing along to. He has been listening and singing along to the "ABC" song. He knows it pretty well for a 3 year old. Do your children have a V Smile? Do you think it is a wonderful educational tool for young children, like me?

No, my grandchild doesn't have one but I think it would have been grand for him. I used to rent the Baby Eistein DVD's and I read to him alot too. Same with my grand daughter. I am glad they have such great education tools around. I wonder if they have them in different languages and so forth so more kids can get a benefit from them.

Yes, I wonder if they have different languages too. Reading is definitely one of the best things you can do for a child too. I never watch the baby Einstein dvds, were they really good?

They were pretty cute. I have done it by myself as far as teaching them to read and write. Repetition and flash cards and such as that. Afew games. Can't remember it all but tought both my grand kids to write their names and know their abc's both written and spoken before they went to Kindergarten. None of my grandkids ever had to go to Preschool which I was always very proud of.

I have grandchildren that have V Smiles and they love them although I think my 3 year old grand daughter was a bit young when she got hers and her mother, my daughter didn't supervise her enough and it got broken. They can be very educational though.

those things are very good for them getting them to sing is a wonderful thing. The games are very good for their development. My Son used to have a v tech games system in a back pack,he took it everywhere and with the batteries if things got boring in the car like a traffic jam he used to pass the time playing games on it.My grandchildren have those systems as well and really enjoy playing on them.not to mention it gives us time for a cuppa and a chat while they are occupied.

I have a six year old and a three year old and they both love the v smile. I like that there are many different learning games to choose from so I can pick ones that meet each one of their learning needs. The price has also gotten much bette compared to what they used to be.
