which is the most effective antivirus and anti spyware???

I would prefer the AVG Anti-virus. I've been using it for a few months now and it hasn't failed me yet =/. The difference between virus and spyware is that viruses are usually more harmful and they infect your files and spread more maliciously than spyware. Usually, spyware just tracks your cookies and history, basically seeing what you're doing online. You could easily delete these by searching a bunch of anti-spyware tools on the internet. They're pretty easy to find and a lot of them are free.

onlinemelvin, never have 2 anti-virus programs on your computer! your windows operating system could be destroyed.avg is ok, just remove the other before your pc starts to show errors.now the difference between antivirus and anti-spyware? anti-virus is mainly to ensure that when you download videos, destktop themes, music your pc. does not get infected with malware, spyware, etc. spyware is the main program- along with a good firewall like comodo pro firewall, anti- spyware will keep out malware- adware- keyloggers.etc. I use spyware doctor. it finds and cleans infections in ones computer that other programs can't touch.using spyware doctor, spywareblaster, fake ip address,and the comodo firewall - my computer amazingly hasn't been infected with trojans, viruses, adware or malware for over two months!

its not good to have a multiple anti virus in your system it will cost to much traffic.
