Microsoft or Linux?

i have decided to take up career as system administration i find two of these dominating the field so i am bit confused to take up which one either microsoft certified system admin or redhat certified system admin can any one suggest the scope of it ...after finish any one i should get a job...

I think you should opt for Redhat certified system as lots of system now using linux rather than microsoft as linux is free and can be use according to your own customized used.

So far i know that microsoft has better scopes for career. Linux is also not that bad. But why will you learn that? What is your ultimate aim? How much you have the sustainability plan to face the tough competitions in this sector? Think all these and then plan accordingly. Happy mylotting.

I've heard about many guys learning Linux if they really want to engage in system related job. Coz you would acquire many different knowledge from Linux. BTW, I'm not the expert at this field.
