What's the best gift you have given or received? What made it so great? Was it creative, thoughtful, expensive?

The best gift that I have ever received is a becycle-BMX. That was years ago and I remember how happy I was when I looked out from the window and there was a becycle on the street. I rided the whole day long and I didn't want to get in. It was so cool.

The gift of education is one of the best gifts I have received. One of my high school teachers and her sister sponsored my college education. I became a certified public accountant because of them.
On my graduation day, I asked them how I could repay them. They told me to pay it forward. That they would appreciate if I could also grant scholarships in the future to less fortunate but brilliant students. I have started paying forward by financing the secondary and college education of my younger brother and sisters. In the future, I hope that I could do the same to other deserving children.

Hmmm. The best gift I've ever received? Probably a DVD player. I know it's not that big of a deal, but nowdays I use it about once a day at LEAST and it's so nice! It was a more expensive one, and my sister got it for me last CHristmas. She knew I really wanted one because mine had broken. *shrugs*

The two best gifts I have ever received was my engagement ring and my wedding ring. I did not know that my boyfriend (now husband) was going to propose to me Christmas 2006. He had hid my gift in layers of boxes. He had started with a small box which contained a cookie and a note that said keep digging. In the second box was a scarf and a sweater he had bought me along with a note that said you are getting warmer to the biggest gift of all. In the third box was Tigger and Tigger had a box in his hands. I almost did not see the small box Tigger was holding. When he said why don't you hold Tigger's hands. I said ok, and when I tried to hold Tigger's hand I realized that it was hard to do because he was holding something. I realized that there was a box and it contained my engagement ring. I wanted to cry because I was so happy. Of course I said yes.
