I haven't but I know I would give it a try if I could dance or sing or had any other talent...big brother never phased me when it was on tv here in Australia so I don't thik I'd ever go for that...I can cook but I don't think I'm good enough for masterchef Australia.
Have you ever auditioned for a reality show? If so, which one? What was your experience.

I have never done it myself, but I have a friend who auditioned for one of those dancing shows. What was it called?....So you think you can dance?
Something like that anyway. I have never seen the show as those types of TV shows annoy me. I cannot believe that people like to watch them...LOL
He got through the first audition and went along to the next one, but just missed out on being able to be on the televised final cut!
My sister went on a game show once in Melbourne, cannot remember what it was called. It was on about 5 years ago between 5 and 6pm at night! She did not win anything...lol

I don't mind so you think you can dance - at least there's talent there...I normally watch Australian Idol & watched a little this year but I'm over it...

I haven't but I've thought about it. American Idol came through Colorado this summer and I was all jazzed about auditioning until a friend asked me, if I won, would I really want to be a pop star for the rest of my life.... I decided no. I was really just auditioning to know if I could make it but she was right... what if I won?
Several years ago, MTV had a show called Fear which was more of an elaborate, drawn out game show than a reality show but the basic idea was six people spent the night in a haunted place. They were free to leave at any time but if they left they forfeit their share of the prize money. Whoever was left at the end of the night split $36,000. I was 100% certain that for the possibility of $36,000, I could make it through 12 hours in a haunted house. But they only accepted audition videos at certain times and I kept missing their casting calls.

I can understand why you didn't audition for idol...it'd be good or the money but I'd like to stay out of the spotlight & not be famous...pity about the haunted house one...that would've been interesting...they never do stuff like that here in Australia :(

Nope, I haven't auditioned for a reality show either. I don't think I would have the confidence to be on a reality show. But I still enjoy watching them on T.V.

i would love to audition for a reality show and i probably wouldnt care if i get whether i get approved or rejected i would do it simply for the experience like say survivor or wipeout or fearfactor whatever id just do it for the extra cash and i would definately give it my all to win but since i see no flyers or audition notices i cant really join.

Have you looked on the shows websites? The ones here in Australia normally post audition details on their websites
