I'll feel as if i was betrayed. Kinda but i'd talk to that person. Who ever he or she is. I would talk it out with her.

you should avoid them and when you get them tell them off.

Don't confront them, they will just get defensive. Just know where they are coming from. You know they can't be trusted anymore. Try to figure out their reason for lying.
