My neighbor and friend just caught a bad flu. Flu are virus and they can spread to other people. So I keep hesitating to come and visit him, because I'm afraid to catch it too. other neighbors don't seem to care and visited frequently. I don't want to look like I don't care. What should you suggest I do ?

I would visit someone with flu only if he/she needs me by his side for support. Otherwise, I would just talk to him on the phone or send mail or something. I guess the sick person would not like to get others sick on his account. No sick person really wants others to get infected with the virus he is carrying.

I think most people who are sick would understand if you dont visit them until they are feeling better. If you feel bad about not visiting them, phone them instead.
I would always stay away from people who are sick - because I cant afford to get sick and stay away from work.
So, stay away, and do phone your friend and enquire as to how they are feeling.
