Mono Chrome (black and white) Mobile Phone.

Does any body still use the old brick type Mono Chrome (black and white) mobile phone. Now days I do not see anybody using such sort of phones, and I see only the mordern phones with all sort of gadgets. Paarticularly after the invasion of Chinese phones every body is carrying such sort of phones. Your Responses.

There is no benefit to keep your old phone when most carriers will give you a free phone on a contract

In India, we still have to buy our own hand set, particularly for GSM network.

My mom and dad still have their mono chrome phones. But they have been told that if those phones ever go bad then they will have to upgrade to a flip phone with all the gadgets as their service provider no long has access to that style of phone. My dad is not too happy about it but says he will have to take what they offer. My mom doesn't really care as long as the phone works when she is trying to reach someone.

I think that is one of the problems of the cell phones, the technology is growing so fast that phones which came about ten years ago are becoming ancient and people are not able to rectify if it is goes bad.

I know few people who uses that old black and white phone.....one of my friend also uses it...she uses it because her husband bought her that mobile as a gift..
and she likes it a lot....
