You are so talented and come up with great ideas. I would love to wander around a dollar store with you and pick your brain for putting things together to make gifts for Christmas. It looks nore than great - it looks fabulous. I hope that you sell lots of them this coming month

All you do is measure and wrap the candy bar in christmas paper....the I had some faux fur someone gave me....put that on the bottom...added some black buttons...cut a belt out of black paper and made a silver belt buckle by cutting a square and then cut the inside out....

That is simply so cute!! Such talent we have here on myLot, haha. Where did you get the idea from? Did you make a decent profit on them? I'm really curious.

I got the idea from my friend....but I do my own thing...I like doing things a little different from her...I doubled my money...it didn't really cost me anything but the candy bar....I had all the paper and someone had given me the faux fur when they got rid of their craft things.....so I did well with them....I think two of the ladies that bought one are going to also make them for Christmas...one for another craft sale she is going to and the other for her family...I also did small ones...and really scored on those....got the candy bars on sale at Walgreens for 49 cents...dressed them up and sold them for a buck and a half.

You are beyond clever. Your ideas are amazing. Sure wish I had your imagination when it comes to making crafts. Was this one of the huge Hershey Bars? And how did you come up with this idea? It's a great idea. Hopefully you'll get a chance to have another craft show before the holidays.

this is cute! i've started making christmas cards to send to my friends... just that I haven't gotten round to addressing them and posting them...
this year I used some patterned paper from october afternoon which was really nice, with little deers, some maya road mist to simulate snow (glittery silver) and so far they have turned out real nice!

My four year old niece loved this. I was making these the other day for my nephew's class and my 4 year old niece fell in love with him. She called him Sandy claus (instead of Santa). She brought him to bed with her. It was cute.

That's cute. I might have to borrow that idea for the kids' stocking stuffers.
You could also use cotton or felt for the fur. I like to use whatever I have around the house for my craft projects.

Great idea! Perfect item to have for those walking around with their children...there is nothing better than a child driven sale at a craft show...well other than a Hersey's bar decked out for Christmas. Nicely done!!

That is a great idea. I think you did a great job making these cute Santa Claus's. If you do not mind I may try making them myself one year and selling them online. How long do they take to make? I am sure the material does not cost too much. They look easy to do.
