having dinner with your boss

wow! thats a lot to comprehend! firstly, i'd be out of this job if i could manage to get another. So then this whole complicated situation wouldn't arise. But if i were broke with no other way of getting a job, i'd tell my boss that i was broke n couldn't afford a fancy dinner night. If that doesn't work either, i'll go :(
