I'm terrible for hoarding books. I just love having a massive stock of them and some are quite old and treasured.
When I don't like one or am sure I won't read it again, I donate it to a charity shop or to book crossing so someone else can read it.

I love book fairs and bake sales, but I always get in trouble for buying more books than I get rid of!

I think you already know my answer to this one LOL. I have a used book business so usually once I am finished with a book I sell them. The only exception is Cookbooks. If I like a cookbook I will keep it forever, but pretty much everything else goes in to inventory and gets listed to sell. I have only re-read a couple of books in my life, and if I ever do want to read a book again I know I can always get it again.

I had a huge collection of books since my childhood. As i was growing up my tastes began to change so i started giving them away to friends and libraries. This is still going on now but nowadays i have stopped buying any books and have just a few which i am keeping for myself. When i make a will i will donate some to my school library and some to my friends.

There is one room in the house that we keep our books. We also stack our encyclopedia (remember them?) and other beautiful magazines that I subscribed in the past. I really like to keep magazines for the homes and fashion. We have some self-help and crafts books, too. I do not sell them, I keep them. When I have nothing to do and become bored with the same usual things, I go through them.

I sell them because right now I need the money. When I was in college I sold my textbooks online so I could make extra money. At school I would sell them on campus because most of the time I would get a lot back. I do have a few of my old children's book and will pass them onto my children when I have them. I do read my Garfield collection books all the time.

Hello. Yes, I do read books a lot, and that's my favorite way of relaxing over the weekends, especially when the waether is not favorable to go out. So, I have a stack of old books. Every now and then, I donate them to the libraries. There are a number of libraries near where I am staying, public, schools. Some books, I give to my friends and relatives who are interested in reading them.

I keep most of my books that I have finished reading. There have been a few that I sold in a garage sale or donated to the library, but I keep all the good ones.

When I moved from one state to another I donated them to the Behavioral Health Unit that I worked at. Another thing I do is share my books with family and friends. Once I have read them I will give them to whom wishes to read them. I will send books to my parents from time to time also. I only keep the books that I really like and want to keep for my collection.

If I don't feel the need to keep them, I sell them to a second hand bookstore in town. I don't get 'real money' for those books, just a dollar each, but still, it's a bit more than getting nothing.

I try to donate my books, since mom always bought me a ton of them when I was little. Sometimes I donate them to our library, other times I donate them to GoodWill. I'd like to sell a few of the better ones, but I really don't know what store or place would buy my gently used books.
