sometimes i am afraid of the dark, especially whenever i have just finished watching horror movies with my family or friends. do you also experience this?

Everyone is afraid of the dark....... Though may does not accept it.
Everyone feels a little shiver in the dark..... may be some ignore it...... but everybody are afraid of the dark.......

well, i don't think everyone is. my father's not afraid of the dark. he even slept on a tomb in a very dark (and scary) cemetery during his teenage days! hehe but anyway thanks for your response!

Many years ago I watched a movie that was so scary, I slept with the bedroom light on that night! 
Other than that, the only time I am leery of the dark...not necessarily scared but I do have my eyes and ears open...is when I am outside with the dogs late at night. I live in south Florida...in the country...and not only have there been alligators and snakes in our canal, big cats have been sighted...panthers and bobcats.

I'm always afraid everytime i watch horror movies. Actually my fear is not about the horror figures in the movies but just because of the shocking scenes or musics.
I'm not afraid of darkness at all. I always sleep in the dark. Even sometime I walk alone in the dark when I need to be alone.

I am afraid of the dark, that is something that comes back straight from my teenage years, I'm afraid in the dark there'll be people who hurt me in past.
I know it's not logical, they are not here now and they won't be here anymore, but I think fear comes from a deeper level.
