We have a cat that will run up to my youngest daughter and bite her and run away. Is this normal? She doesn't break the skin or anything, just enough to make her yell.

our cat does the same thing, only when she's eaten and she's full of energy, look out she's a biter her mother must have left her on our property when she was hours old so we raised her and did a good job of it she would run around do all kinds of things time came and we took her to the Vet, I told the family once she was fixed for not having any family that she would calm down! no way she's still the same she still draws blood and is full of energy but we love her!!

First, I would have to ask how old your daughter is, and how long you've had your cat for? Seems to me your cat is making a play for dominance over your daughter. It's not a dangerous thing, just that your cat is fighting her for your affections. If you show the cat special love and affection, maybe the behavour will stop.
