What do you put on a tounge ulcer when you get one?
I burnt my tounge the other night whilst tasting my cooking, now I have this anoying ulcer...
I just put vegiemite on it and it stung a bit, But than it started to numb it.
It feels better... What do you do??

I used to have a lot of those canker sores as a kid. I stopped having so many when I stopped eating so much candy. Often got them when I accidently bit my cheeks. Raw honey on several times a day is good too. Rinse out your mouth with salt water. It will sting but feel better afterwards. Listerine is also good.

OWCH! Truly feel sorry for you! I would constantly rinse with a mild saline solution! One teaspoon of salt dissolved in 8 oz. of water! As you know, the human mouth is extremely unsanitary. In my many years as a paramedic, the most commonly used solution, in the ambulance was sterile saline solution, we stopped using EVEN diluted hydrogen peroxide, as it tends to burn/sear tissues. The saline solution will not hurt you, either, if you inadvertently ingest some! Have a great weekend...and Cheers!

I have the similar experience when I was a little kid. My lips got burnt at that time.
I was eager to eat something. I couldn't wait and took no notice of the hot bowl. oops...
Mama told me to squeeze out a little bit of toothpaste and put it on the sore ~~
