I hope Im allowed to have this discussion. I have read the FAQ's.
I was on My Lot for over one year, but was absent for the last year or so.
And yes, I did a search of My Lot discussions, but still cant really find much.
What are people currently earning on My Lot each day, on average?
I started again 2 days ago & earned 41c the 1st day. The second day I earned 57c.
Is this about average?
I would really like to increase my earnings to about $1.00 per day.
Please tell me what the current situation is.

Right, so doing the tasks actually earns us money? Guess I better to have a more thorough check of them. Thanks.

you are right. mylot give us average $.01/post-respond. so need almost 100 post to earn $1.00. to me its relly hard. i'm used to post 5/6 in a days. but there are lot of nice people, who post much more. and their earn is also very high so.

Tasks could easily enable you to earn more than $1, particularly with writing tasks. There are also sign up tasks that pay in between $0.5 to $.10 each and you do lots of them, you could easily make up $1 a day, if that is your goal. Writing tasks such as Sharon bucks pay $4 each and there were days wherein I was able to do 4-5 articles and when they do get approved, its instant $16 or $20.

There is no general 'average' amount that you can make compared to someone else on Mylot. The amount you make is based on the quality of your responses. If you only post short sentences that aren't meaningful then you won't make much.
I generally post five or six responses a day. sometimes I start a discussion. Even with five or six responses I make anywhere from a dime to a quarter a day.
If I bothered to write a hundred posts with this amount of length and in-depth discussion then i'd make a few dollars a day.
Some have mentioned tasks. Those can be good I have heard but i've never done them personally. I've reached pay out once or twice, despite my low post number.
It's all in the quality of your responses.
Another excellent way of making money is to refer all of your chatty friends and receive a lifetime revenue share from them.
Bring a few people into the party!

What is a dime and a quarter? Sorry, we are metric here.
I could asume trhat if I wrote just a few, long & well thought out responses, I may earn just as much, as trying to write 100 posts each day.

Ah.. my apologies! In American currency a dime is ten cents, and a quarter is twenty five cents.
As a point of interest I wrote four comments and responses in general yesterday and made thirty cents. I much prefer making fewer posts with more content because this way I do not have to try and decide on what exactly to say to a hundred different topics I may, or may not, be interested in.

I earn just about that amount per day. What I do is, I log in different times of the day so that there are different topics to respond to. I work on the Computer anyway, so I take time to log in whenever I can.
Mylot does pay around .01 per response but again, it varies. On average, I think that's an accurate figure. So, 100 responses will likely get you a dollar if it's good quality. It's not difficult to get to 100 if you have many friends on your list who actively start discussions and if you keep logging in from time to time.

I dont think Im going to have time to 100 posts per day. You did quite well to earn 41c with one task and one posting.

You would need to do lots of responses to earn more & preferably longer ones. Good Luck.

Hi Jenny. No, I'm not earning a $1.00 a day on here. In fact, the highest I've ever made was 53 cents in the past 21 months that I've been here, I think, and that was on a good day! LOL I haven't been able to get near that amount since. I'm currently only making a few cents a day. But that is my own fault for not participating in more discussions.
I'm not just here to earn though. I'm here more for the fun of it. The earnings I make are more like a bonus. It's a small bonus, but a bonus, just the same.
I think everyone's earnings vary depending on how much time and effort they spend on here. And by the looks of it you are doing pretty well! Keep up the good work!
Happy mylotting!

Im ny last 3 days here the highest I earnt was 57c and that was when I spent a lot of time posting. What I think I have discovered though, is that we are not paid for replying to responses, such as here.

I don't know Jenny. By what I've noticed I think sometimes we do get paid for it other times we don't. I'm guessing it is to help further confuse us members so that we can't figure out the earning system on here. Though I could always be wrong.

We definately DO earn for responding to responses (commenting) and that is waht a discussion is all about BUT 1-2- lines will not earn. Fo r a comment to be worth anything it too must be quality and not just something thrown in to add a line to the conversation.
MyLot pay for activity interacting with other users, anywhere and everywhere. There are many of us who have experimented with just one discussion and lengthy comments backwards and forwards in all of the boxes over and over again - THAT is what earns!

Im not sure how many responses I did yesterday, I think it was a great deal & my earnings went up a little.
But I think, & I could be wrong, that my replies to the respoonses I get, dont count.

ALL your own activity counts towards earnings.
You type, you earn - others type, they earn
BUT it must be quality and 1-2 line posts earn next to nothing.

I think the more work you put into, the more you get out of it. (Duh! lol stupid thing to say. My bad.) I think the most I've made in one day is around $1.50, but that was because I was on MyLot for literally two hours, posting non-stop. I tend to forget about the "quality over quantity" thing, so I probably ended up responding to about 100 discussions that day. So maybe you should try that? Sit down and clear up about an hour and a half of your time and just sit and post, post, post. And see what happens. Really push yourself and I'm sure you'll make that buck a day. Good luck!

hello maezee, are you serious? you can earn one and fifty dollars for only two hours? it's unbelievable since i do mylot for almost two hours and then only earn half the dollar. unless you do task or you have referrals, i dunno how you do it. yeah, post post and more post. probably i am too slow for doing post everytime i see a transaction and always think of my response or comment.

On myLot? No - wouldnt even come near that at all. In fact, the most amount of money i have made in one day is soemthing around 20 cents.
Im sure there are people who know how to maximise the amount of money that they earn here - but I just havent managed to figure that one out yet!
I hope someone can share the secret and let me know how its done :)
Happy myLotting!

Hi jenny! Good to have you back here!
$1 is fine and hopefully i can achieve that without doing SharonBucks tasks. I know, I am one the -th person who said that
Your daily earning must be high enough compared to average i guess. How many posts are you making? I only make 10-20 and I'm earning around $20 for that. The highest earnings i reached in a day is $0.30

I didnt record how many posts I made over the past 3 days, but I should have. So I started recording today. One thing I have noticed, is that my recorded posts number of 5934 has NOT gone up since I have been replying to responses for my discussions. Interesting!

lolz! I am recording the discussions i am responding too. That way i can track how much I am earning, really!
Well, if you respond to your own discussion, and you comment on those responses, your number of posts will not actually increase

jenny, it all depends on how much time you have to spend here. $1.00 would be nice, I would like to earn at least 34 centsw a day as that would make payout. There is a new option called tasks that can sometimes add to the earnings from the site. I did not see anything I wanted to do earlier this evening, but your taste may be different from mine.

Jenny, I am working full time in a salaried position, so I am gone about 50 hours per week it seems at times. I have been taking some freelance assignments, and I am on another site as well. Only twenty four hours a day. Unfortunately.

I did notice that you dont seem to start many discussions nowadays! Is there a reason for that? I remember you being very active.

That amount is pretty good if you ask me. I don't make that much very often because I can't stay on the computer for long periods of time especially now with the holidays coming up here in the States. There have been times where I've made more but very rarely and it was when I was at the computer for long periods of time. One can get very burned out and quick if they're not careful.

On some good days, I'm able to hit $1, and normally I kind of least expected it, because I could be going here and there with answering and commenting. I have long given up trying to figure out the how and the why, so every day is kind of interesting to see how much I manage to save. I use mylot earnings to save, kind of like something I implemented for myself for a little while now.

The algorithm for earnings that myLot uses is absolutely unpredictable for us and is perhaps for our best and myLot's. So I would rahter not specualte on how much I'm getting paid but rather just keep posting. Because the basic fact is that you get paid for posting quality posts. The more you post, the more you earn. AND the better you post the better you earn. Nothing is left to average, its all hard and smart work.

Yes, there seems to be no doubt that quality counts. I see no point in trying to do 100 posts to earn $1.00, as some people here suggest.

Sadly, No! I haven't really reached that 1 dollar mark on a single day. That would really be amazing if ever I get a chance to earn such. My highest earning for a day I guess is around 80 cents. I have worked my butt off for that day and I am really glad that it reached that amount.
