Not too many discussions being started today..

No, it isn't just you. I've noticed it, too. Normally, when I log on, there are tons of posts to respond to but today is quite slow. Not many people are starting discussions. I've gone as far as checking today's top, new, recent, etc, friend's, etc but really, not much has been going on here today.

Yes I have noticed this to and sometimes this happens and it is like a Ghost Town here lol

Hi maezee, I think I put five up in the last couple of days or so and unless the mood strikes no more for just now. If you want to find something interesting you're welcome to a bit of profile stalking, I do that when there's nothing around or I sometimes like to drop in on coffee and pizza to comment on the originalitiy of such fascinating and interesting discussions. The same thing happens periodically with things moving slowly and posters keeping their own discussions in order.

no. i dont think so. they may be busy and it is also not important that we have to post discussion on daily basis. me, i start a discusiion when i have to share something with mylotters. so it may a gap of three days either more that it. anyway have a nice day.

No, I have notice such a phenomenon too. Perhaps today most friends are busy with their work at hand and have no time to post their new discussions. Usually, I notice that there are not too many discussion being started on weekends. But today, when I have started two new discussion here, then I try to find some interesting discussions, but I am disappointed that I find there are no so many responses being started. So, I have to look for some old discussions to post my responses. Happy myLotting!

i have the same feeling today,yeaterday i was busying with otherthings,so didn't login mylot,today i feel not too many discussition started and replayed.why?

I noticed this today as well. I have somewhat struggled to find quality discussions to respond to. I have started a few of my own over the past 2 days, meeting with very mixed response.

No, you are not crazy, I have noticed it also, but I have noticed it for the last year, it's been getting slower! I think it might be the popularity of Facebook, which has increased, has kept them tied up over there! And there are so many new sites that open up everyday! Me, I enjoy myLot, because I like communicating, discussing, and keeping in touch with my friends! I think a lot of people are hesistant to start a discussion, or answer a discussion because they are not confident of themselves! Me, I would be on here all day, if they let me, but I stay so busy with everything else, I barely have time to visit on here! (there are only 24 hrs in a day) I know that for me, when it rains or snows in this dry area, that's when I always like to get on the computer a lot!

Yes you are right maezee. I also noticed that the discussions are not that interesting to me also. Some discussions are always repeating with other person doing it not knowing that it was posted before. Mylot population is 190.6K but only few are active.

Yes,I have notice it today. When I came on early I notice that there were not to many new discussion from last night. I have responded to most of the one I wanted to discussion guess I will have to check out the old ones and see if there is something I might want to response too.

Yes, I did notice it too. It could be attributed to a lot of things. BUt as for me, I have limited amount of time to spend on the discussions since I mostly focus on the tasks. And since there are currently no writing tasks, I spend only a few hours here in the site. I've been checking back and forth though, since I have other work to attend to as well.

Yeah I kind of noticed that today!!! I usually write discussions but i guess I am just not in the mood of discussing anything right now. Well atleast I dont' feel like writing one out. i just feel like commenting on other discussions like I am doing here. Yeah there are times that harly anyone is posting any discussions but I always find something to do here anyways. so i keep myself occupied all the time that I am here on mylot. happy mylotting maria s.

hello maezee, it's true that only a few mylotters are making discussions now, most specially the oldies. I, myself rarely make discussions but decided to make one mylsef or more, despite of the few responses. i don't know, i feel the absence of most oldies here but some are active in other sites, their topics are truly miss. well, they're still plenty to rspond, but not that good in quality.

I'm probably too busy posting to old discussions to notice the lack of new ones. lately, I find more fun in posting to old discussions which are very interesting some of these discussions are three years old and still receive comments up to now. Cheers!
