I know this is not the first time you heard this, but is it coming?
LBJ will change his number and Magic Johnson and Larry Bird agreed on this. I'm not suprised that some other retired stars such as Barkley will vote for this.
It sounds a little crazy but it's interesting. I don't remember anything like this had happened in any sports before. Is that too much?
MJ is the best player in the history by now. But still it may be too much to retire his number in the whole NBA.
So what's your thought?
At least I know if this is really happened. The stuffs marked Bulls 23 will be more expensive from now on.

What??? Shaq wear #33 for him and he's changing it. Shaq is Scottie and Lebron is his Michael. I wonder how shaq gonna react, i need to check twitter more often to find out his reaction. He have very interesting tweets...crazy tweets. I heard rumors that Michael Jordan didn't like Lebron. Maybe it is lebrons way to reach out to Michael and give him a respect he deserves.

dude. i think everyone's making a big deal with what LBJ said. am i right? its like everything that he says is a big deal for basketball critics and fans worldwide. dont get me wrong i idolize LBJ but this is too much. MJ is a very good player and is very respectable however if MJ's number 23 will be retired then they should suggest retiring the numbers of magic and bird as well. you see, MJ is a great player but he is not the only great player who has ever played in the NBA. what about the doc? the human highlight? they are great players as well. and i think if MJs number 23 will be retired so will theirs. BUT if their numbers will be retired, there will be less two digit numbers to choose from by new players. to add to that, if Mjs number be retired then this streak of retiring numbers of players will continue. and pretty soon NBA players will have three digit numbers if all the two digit numbers will be retired. lol :D

I think retiring the number 23 in the NBA is a bad idea. And I personally think Jordan is having second thoughts on this. He sure loving the respect being given to him by this idea but I also think he's loving it seeing players especially great players like Lebron wear his jersey number. If I'm Jordan seeing LBJ or Kobe wearing my jersey number will make feel really good. They rooting after me. Idolizing me. Hailing me. Not forgetting me. Isn't that great? So I personally think this is a bad idea and for me this won't push through or won't happen.

hi,
I think its ok if 23 retires from NBA. Everyone who plays in the NBA wants to curve his own name in this league, and bearing these jersey number, who belong to the greatest player the league have known, will surely been notice. But there name will only be in the shadow of the player who really own these number. There will never be another Michael Jordan.
