I turn 30 next year and I am thinking this is a big birthday and should be celebrated a bit more than a standard birthday.I am thinking of celebrating by taking a trip with my husband, maybe prague or rome. How about you?Do you do anything special on the "big birthday"?

Looks like you birthday is really big!
I celebrated my 30th birthday in a child-like way. It is a kiddie party but the guests are mostly adults. The set-up had balloons, kiddie chairs and kiddie tables. No clowns were invited because my kid is scared of them but I would say that everyone enjoyed. There were parlor games, pinata and "pabitin" (goodies tied on bamboo frame and hanging by the ceiling). Everyone participated in the games but I had to make the prizes nicer for the "big ones" for the effort.
My friend spent her 30th birthday on an Asian cruise with her sister. Another friend of mine celebrated his birthday in Mcdonalds with under sea adventure theme. My sister became queen-for-a-day on her birthday in a hotel suite with butler, massage and the works. She waas sent home with a hire Limo.

~Its also my 30th next year and im hoping to do something special but my something special is just going out for a meal or something as going abroad is just to far out of my price range! My usual birthdays are just a normal day for me usually i get a few cards but my family have never been well off so ive got used to the fact that it is the thought that counts. My 21st was good as my mum let me have run of the house and she went to stay at a friends so we had a large party, needless to say she never left home alone again!
